Civil Engineer Roads
Suango Company Limited invites qualified and passionate individuals to apply for this positions. This role is crucial in enhancing our engineering capacity and delivering exceptional projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
a. Design and oversee road construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
b. Prepare and analyze design drawings, plans, and specifications.
c. Estimate and manage project costs, including developing Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
d. Supervise road construction activities and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
e. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
f. Conduct site inspections to assess progress and compliance with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
a. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Diploma, or Higher Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering.
b. Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) or Institute of Engineering Technologists and Technicians (IET)
c. Current subscription to EBK/KETRB/Institute of Engineering Technologists and Technicians (IET).
Key Competencies
a. Expertise in designing and estimating project costs, particularly developing accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
b. Strong project management and organizational skills.
c. Proficiency in construction software and technical tools.
d. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
e. Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
f. Computer skills and a valid driving license.
Mandatory Documents for Application

b. Certified copy of Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree Certificate.
c. Certified copy of Registration Certificate and proof of current subscription to EBK/KETRB/IET.
d. An up to date, Resume showcasing works done in the past with at least three referees.
